There are many ways to evaluate Scratch and Win games. Almost any concept, once accompanied with an evaluation methodology, can produce differing recommendations.
This Blog will evaluate the best Grand Prize games and the best $100 or more win games. The recommended game is the one that best combines the two methods.
Turbo Cash #1713 continues to be the top choice. Only 36% of the ticket float remains to be sold and all the Grand Prizes remain to be claimed. Your chance to win one is now only 170,000:1 for your $10 investment. By comparison, the game with the best pure odds to win a jackpot is Instant GP #1919 at 150,000:1. The down side to this game is that the Grand Prize is only $50,000 for your $10 ticket.
Best Grand Prize Game:
$1 - $2 Games - Snow Globe #1727
$3 - $5 Games - Instant Millions #1683
$10 - $20 Games - Turbo Cash #1713
Best $100 or more Game:
$1 - $2 Games - Bingo Express #1707
$3 - $5 Games - Money Multiplier #1692
$10 - $20 Games - Turbo Cash #1713
At present, I do not have information on Extravaganza and $100k For Life to the $100 prize level. As such, those two games may be getting short shrift in the analysis. I have asked OLG to add that information to their web page. Patience will be required as the request winds its way to the appropriate individual.
The Fast $100 game is also an outlier game. It rates "off the chart" in my evaluation system but the grand Prize for the game is only $100. It is a good game at $1 if your objective is to win $100. Your chances to do so are presently 800:1.
OLG has done some seasonal cleaning by retiring Blazing Sevens #1696, Scrabble #1702, and Cross Tripler #1703. All three of the games were getting low on ticket availability and each one had at least one grand prize left to claim. Mysteriously, OLG continue to flout Golden Goose #1700 with no Grand Prizes left and Crossword #1298 with only 5% of its ticket float remaining. The retired games had between 8% and 15% of their tickets left to be sold.
I started the year off well with 3 Turbo Cash tickets. Two were winners returning $30. That puts me even for the year after one week. This is likely to be my high water mark for the year.
Two reports from Toronto to end 2012 were as bad as bad can be. Frank in Scarborough is on an 0 for 9 Turbo Cash streak and Norm from Mississauga is at 0 for 4. Lets hope that the New Year brings them luck.
Happy New Year to all.
